Meet the Training Team at Elite Dogs

At Elite Dogs, our training team is made up of passionate, skilled individuals who bring out the best in every dog they work with. Each member of our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, effective training tailored to the needs of both dogs and their owners.

Courtney
Courtney has been a part of Elite Dogs from the very beginning. As the niece of the original founder, she was raised around dogs and began training at a very early age. In 2009, she joined the team full time as manager and co-trainer, and in 2019, she and her husband Ian proudly took over ownership of Elite Dogs. Today, Courtney serves as our lead trainer, overseeing much of the day-to-day operations and guiding the direction of our training programs. Her deep experience and dedication to each dog’s success have helped shape the Elite Dogs legacy.

Guy
Guy joined Elite Dogs in 2014 and quickly proved to be a natural with dogs. He manages our team of Kennel Technicians and works closely with Courtney to co-train, focusing especially on reinforcing training for dogs in our board-and-train program. Guy has a unique ability to connect with even the most difficult dogs—those that other kennels might turn away. His calm, steady presence helps transform even the most stubborn behavior, and his fearlessness and patience make him an invaluable member of the team.

Dee
With years of personal experience prior to joining us in 2022, Dee brought an already strong foundation in dog training. She worked alongside Courtney, refining her skills and mastering the Elite Dogs training methodology. Dee is not only highly skilled but also deeply empathetic, and her joyful, confident approach makes training fun and productive for both dogs and their owners.

Thomas
Thomas is the newest addition to our training team and has hit the ground running. His enthusiasm for working with dogs is matched only by his eagerness to learn and grow. Thomas has quickly gained a strong understanding of our training techniques and is already making a positive impact with the dogs in his care.

Training With Elite Dogs
We’ve always been proud of the high demand for our training programs, and we’re excited to now offer both on-site (at our facility) and in-home training services. Whether you're looking for help with basic obedience, behavioral challenges, or advanced training, our elite team is here to help you build a stronger bond with your dog—wherever you are (as long as wherever you are is within 30 minutes of the kennel).
